Survey Solutions are a research company that specialise in employee engagement and 360 degree feedback.
Our engagement
We performed a design and architecture review for Survey Solutions upcoming product to improve its performance and also validate and ensure it would be fit for purpose to support their future requirements.
Survey Solutions had two distinct needs. The first was to investigate a performance bottleneck that had found whilst load testing their new product suite. We performed a code and design review of the application and highlighted several areas where changes could be made. Where the changes could not be made in the timeframe we included detailed instructions as to how to make the change in our comprehensive report. Our recommendations led to improvements in performance of several orders of magnitude.
The second area was to perform an architecture review of the application to ensure it would meet the needs of their customers both now and in the future. We recommended several actions (that Survey Solutions IT teams implemented) that not only meant the application could handle greater volumes, but also made a performance improvement to existing loads.
During this engagement we worked closely with our client’s IT teams ensuring that we passed on not only our recommendations, but also the methods we used and the principles behind them. We encapsulated these in a comprehensive report.
